What a weekend for Patrick & Michelle Payne!
Fresh off a standout weekend, Patrick and Michelle Payne have cemented their place as one of Victoria’s most in-form training partnerships, producing four winners across Donald and Flemington, and currently boasting a 15.9% strike rate to sit 7th on the Victorian metropolitan trainers premiership.
Their results highlight their exceptional ability to place horses to perfection across a wide range of distances:
- Itwasonlyakiss (IRE) – over a mile at Donald
- Jimmy The Bear – over a mile at Flemington
- Stop The Rock (NZ) – over 2000m at Flemington
- Bold Soul (NZ) – over 2540m at Flemington
This kind of versatility and consistency is exactly why we’re excited to be racing our Zousain x La Chica Bella filly with the Payne team in 2025. Listen to Michelle’s thoughts below on the filly!
